Representatives from Muller Martini’s Press Division will be on hand at Graph Expo to provide insight and recommendations
From flexible packaging and cartons to pharmaceutical inserts and commercial work, new opportunities are developing daily. That’s why Muller Martini’s product engineers will be at Booth #2017 during this year’s Graph Expo to speak with printers and finishing houses about exciting and versatile press technologies that can help grow their business.
Muller’s presses not only print, but also offer in-line finishing in a single operation, incorporating hole punching, die cutting, perforating, sheeting, folding and stacking. Moreover, these web presses offer multiple options when it comes to security printing. The rising demand for more secure products (e.g., plastic cards with embedded chips, government documents, travel tickets, passports and ID cards) is opening many new revenue opportunities to today’s printers.
In addition to traditional printed pieces, labels, films, foils, laminates, and other flexible and liquid packaging can also be manufactured with Muller Martini web presses. What’s more, thick substrates can be processed using the Variable Sleeve Offset Printing Press (VSOP), which is necessary for carton printing.
Muller’s line of web offset presses includes:
VSOP. This new generation Variable Sleeve Offset Printing Press (VSOP) is one of the most dynamic web press technologies available in today’s packaging market, providing a singular packaging printing solution for a variety of packaging needs. What’s more, thanks to its unique sleeve technology, print sizes can be changed to any repeat length between 15” and 30” without having to remove entire printing inserts, so the process is quick, simple and cost-effective.
Alprinta. This press has been developed for the production of high-quality commercial work and direct mail, as well as for flexible packaging materials and labels.
Alprinta V. Capable of producing virtually any print length, the Alprinta V is exceptionally well-suited to the production of flexible packaging and labels.
Concepta. This press offers superior print quality, convenient operation, and easy access, and can produce even the smallest job cost-effectively.
Graph Expo takes place October 7-10, 2012 at McCormick Place South in Chicago. Muller Martini’s theme at this year’s show is “New or Renewed: Engineered for Greater Productivity.” Muller’s engineers and product specialists will be on hand in Booth # 2017 to explain and demonstrate to printers and finishers how they can remain competitive and relevant through investments in either all-new print and finishing technology, or in upgrades and other enhancements that can increase throughput in existing machines.
