This summer hopefully each of you has planned some personal downtime to replenish your Vitamin D, as well as professional down-time to schedule bindery maintenance service for your production lines. Muller Martini can assist with the latter.

MMInspect is now available for Kolbus equipment.

Muller Martini customers have long relied on MMInspect to provide a thorough inspection of their bindery equipment’s net output. And this bindery maintenance service is now available for Kolbus users as well. I am working with our Service Department, your local regional sales manager, and the Kolbus Parts Department in Rahden, Germany, to help create comprehensive reports for your particular machine. Service and spare parts transition going well.

We have passed the one-year mark for the transfer of the Kolbus perfect binding and bookline business to Muller Martini, and I am very pleased with our progress. We are continuing with improved inventory levels and access to information, particularly with the launch of MPower 4.0 which features an at-a-glance dashboard of your account, as well as 24/7 parts ordering. Quick Tip

When ordering electrical components be sure to know the exact machine model number and serial number, as well as the position number of the item. Electrical schematic position numbers are found on white tags either on the item itself or on the wire leading to the piece.  These numbers are usually a letter and number, for example, M1.
